Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapy

Those who have been in therapy before may agree that this is the single, most rewarding journey one can undertake in life. But why choose this modality, and what is transpersonal therapy all about?

While more clinical therapeutic models can only take one as far, transpersonal therapy offers the breadth and depth of a truly holistic model where human beings are appreciated in their totality - not simply as the sum of their past traumas and coping mechanisms.

A transpersonal journey of self-enquiry can help us expand our perception of self beyond our troubles and what we have learned to believe about ourselves, challenging any labels or boxes we may have been given (by others or ourselves) and thus experiencing what we truly are.

It can bring long-lasting transformation, healing, and help us connect to parts of us we may have not known or loved before. Part of this journey is about acknowledging the entirety of our being - light and shadow - and guiding all the scattered parts of ourselves back home.

Transpersonal therapy can also help one make sense of life crises and harness the deep wisdom they yield, welcoming challenges as opportunities for growth whilst honouring the deep grief that often accompanies those transitions.

Personally, I like to look at transpersonal therapy as an alchemical process where the heaviest parts of our being can be transmuted and integrated in our psyche, so that we may embody our unique gifts with integrity, authenticity, compassion and truthfulness and live a truly fulfilling life.

While this is the holistic model I use to orient myself in the delicate terrain of the human mind, the way I practice is integrative, drawing also on psychodynamic, humanistic and existential techniques and theories.

I use a blend of talking therapy, creative imagination, sand trays, bodywork, dreamwork, and nature-therapy to tailor the work around your needs.
